As individuals, we think our inner speech, which we might define as our consciousness, is unique. Somehow this is true. Somehow not. The inner speech reflects our observations and mimics our surroundings. So is our behavior and communication. Also, we have an inner reward system. Our body releases hormones for social interactions. So language and communication are intrinsic.

The key difference between the human brain and a computer is that a computer processes information according to an algorithm without giving it any meaning, while the human brain interprets the information and derives action from it.

The information is generated by our senses. Every animal has its own set of senses. Humans see the world fundamentally different than bees. And even among humans, the world is different (red-green-color-blindness, changed sense of smell, for example, caused by Sars-CoV-2).
